Bye Bye PDF, Welcome Unicode!

લો અકીલા હવે પીડીઍફમાં મળશે! પણ યુનિકોડ કૅમ નહિં? સંદેશ અને દિવ્ય-ભાસ્કર તો ક્યારનાંય કરે છે! ગૂગલ અને (તેથી જ) સર્ચગુજરાતી તેનાં લેખ સર્ચ કરી શકે છે. ગુજરાત સમાચાર ને વિશાલ ભાઈએ તો નવો અવતાર આપ્યો, પણ હજી તેઓ પોતે યુનિકોડ બાબતે સક્રિય હોય તેમ જણાતું નથી. અને મને નથી લાગતું કે ગુજરાતી સમાચાર પત્રો માટે યુનિકોડ કંઈ મૉઘું છે! બસ આ ત્રણ પગલાં ની ગાઈડલાઈન્સ (અકીલાને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને લખેલ છે.) અજમાવીને તેઓ કંઈ નહિં તો અખતરા સ્વરૂપે પણ તે કરી શકે છે, સાવ મફ્ફતમાં!

1. Install a content management system like Joomla  on your server FREE. (Gives RSS as well, I love it!)
2. After you publish your article on regular site, font-change from Krishna to Unicode Gujarati it on this page (A really cool service from Vishal Monpara, thanks a thousands, but unfortunately does not support SHREE fonts that have been used for more than a decade for creating Gujarati Stuff).
3. Publish it as an article on the Joomla.

હવે, તમે એટલું તો સમજ્યા હશો કે અકીલા પરથી કંઈ યુનિકોડમાં જોઇતું હોય તો કેવી રીતે રૂપાંતરિત કરાય! થોરામાં ઘનું...
