ચક્કર પરનું ભડભડતું ઘાસ
ચારેબાજુથી અચાનક વછૂટેલી
બંબાના પાણીના ફૂવારાની
જોરદાર ધારથી
ડઘાઈ ગયું, હેબતાઈ ગયુંવાહ રે માણસ!
કે થોડા છાંટા નાંખ્યા હૉત
મહિનો-દા'ડો પહેલાં
તો અમે કાળઝાળ ગરમીમાં
આમ ભડકે બળત?
